Founder
D.C. Agwu
D.C. Agwu founded D.C Alacrity to treat interactive live-action film as a real format — not a one-off stunt — and to keep the company that builds it based in North Carolina.
He works across the stack that format requires: writing and directing multipath story, producing on limited budgets, engineering the story-graph → Unity → headset pipeline, and shipping the production software (Pure Alacrity) so the process isn’t trapped in one person’s hard drive. That stack is what put Right Here Right Now! on store shelves and what carried Sidequest from world bible to set.
His training sits at the seam of film and cybersecurity (UNCW and WTCC), with formative work in NASA student programs (L’SPACE, NCAS). The through-line isn’t a résumé line — it’s why the company obsesses over both craft and systems. If interactive cinema still has no incumbent, the studio that owns early proof and the tooling will not be built by waiting for a coast to call. It has to be built here, on purpose, at a scale that can grow.
